Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst at TIDES Financials, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities designed to enhance the company’s financial health and sustainability. Your core duties will include:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. Generate accurate financial reports to support management in making informed business decisions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Cost Management and Optimization: Evaluate cost structures across departments, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction. Work closely with procurement and operational teams to implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service delivery.
• Financial Modeling and Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term strategic planning, including investment appraisals, pricing strategies, and capital expenditure evaluations. Provide insights into potential financial scenarios to guide executive decision-making.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and financial controls. Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s assets and reputation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted financial advisor to cross-functional teams, including senior management, operations, and external auditors. Present financial insights in a clear and concise manner to facilitate understanding and drive alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare or insurance sector.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems, Excel (advanced modeling skills), and financial reporting platforms. Experience with SAP or Oracle Financials is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is required. Additional language skills are advantageous.
