Area Manager – Specialty Coffee

Position Overview

Qureos Inc is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee and drive the growth of our Specialty Coffee operations in Riyadh. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high standards of product quality, and fostering a culture of innovation and customer satisfaction within the specialty coffee segment. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple specialty coffee outlets, ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational efficiency, and profitability targets.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of store managers and baristas, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach by ensuring consistent delivery of premium coffee experiences, addressing customer feedback, and driving loyalty programs to enhance retention.
• Financial Performance: Monitor and optimize financial performance, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability, through data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Supply Chain & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with procurement and quality assurance teams to source high-quality specialty coffee beans, maintain freshness, and uphold rigorous quality standards across all outlets.
• Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the Riyadh market, including new store openings, partnerships, and innovative product offerings to strengthen market presence.
• Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Qureos Inc, embodying the company’s values, mission, and commitment to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and community engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A certification in coffee expertise (e.g., SCA) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in the specialty coffee industry, with a proven track record in retail operations, team leadership, and financial performance.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, financial reporting, and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the specialty coffee market, including trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
