Key Responsibilities

The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of all store operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives of operational excellence and customer-centric service. Core responsibilities include:

• Store Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day store activities, ensuring seamless execution of retail processes while maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity.

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing retail team through coaching, training, and performance management to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Ensure accurate inventory management, optimal stock availability, and adherence to merchandising standards to enhance product presentation and customer appeal.
• Customer Experience Enhancement: Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and implement strategies to elevate the overall shopping experience, thereby driving customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Financial & Budgetary Oversight: Monitor operational expenses, manage store budgets, and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Compliance & Reporting: Uphold company policies, retail procedures, and regulatory standards while preparing detailed operational and commercial reports for regional management to support data-driven decision-making.
• Promotional & Seasonal Coordination: Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional campaigns and seasonal activities to maximize sales opportunities and align with market trends.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of six years of progressive retail experience, with at least three years in a store management capacity, demonstrating a track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
• Leadership & Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to lead and inspire retail teams, coupled with a strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and financial management.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and implement strategic initiatives that drive business growth.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with retail management systems and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to engage with team members, customers, and stakeholders effectively.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is considered a valuable asset.
