The Project

This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to one of the most ambitious and largest mixed-use development programmes in Saudi Arabia. The project encompasses a diverse range of facilities, including state-of-the-art sports complexes, world-class entertainment venues, and vibrant arts and cultural spaces, alongside essential infrastructure to support the entire development. As a key delivery partner, Mace is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams through every phase of this landmark initiative.

Your Responsibilities

• Governance and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to governance policies, strategic plans, operational procedures, and approval frameworks to maintain the highest standards of project integrity.
• Leadership and Values: Demonstrate exceptional leadership behaviors and uphold organizational values in every aspect of your role, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Financial Modeling Leadership: Lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models to assess project feasibility across multiple business units and asset classes, including real estate, hospitality, leisure, retail, and infrastructure.
• Best Practices and Analysis: Ensure financial models adhere to industry best practices, incorporating sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and dynamic assumptions to provide robust insights.
• Risk and Opportunity Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, presenting clear financial implications and actionable recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Strategy, Development, and Finance teams to align financial feasibility outputs with organizational objectives, ensuring consistency and comparability across asset classes for comprehensive portfolio-level reporting.
• Governance and Standardization: Maintain rigorous governance of financial feasibility workstreams, ensuring adherence to internal policies, controls, and approval processes while implementing version control, audit trails, and standardized templates to enhance transparency and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex financial and modeling outcomes to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights.
• Innovation and Development: Drive continuous improvement in financial feasibility analysis through the adoption of automation and advanced analytics tools, while mentoring and developing junior team members to strengthen internal capabilities.

Your Requirements

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and investment appraisal, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in large-scale developments, mixed-use real estate, infrastructure, or diversified asset portfolios.
• Regional Expertise: Previous experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the broader Middle East region is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in building and maintaining complex, dynamic, and multi-scenario financial models using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including the use of VBA/macros where applicable.
• Financial Acumen: A strong understanding of key financial metrics such as discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV), sensitivity analysis, scenario modeling, and valuation methodologies.
• Project Finance Knowledge: Familiarity with project finance principles, capital structuring, and funding models to support large-scale developments.
• Multi-Asset Class Exposure: Experience working across diverse asset classes, including residential, hospitality, retail, entertainment, sports, and infrastructure, with a deep understanding of their unique financial dynamics.
• Strategic Alignment: Ability to collaborate effectively with Strategy, Development, Design, and Finance teams to ensure financial feasibility outputs align with strategic goals and operational realities.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams, and deliver results, coupled with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
