Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
• Internal Controls and Audit Support: Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal control frameworks to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to corporate policies. Collaborate closely with internal and external audit teams to facilitate smooth audit processes and address any findings proactively.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making across all business units. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with procurement, operations, and other departments to align financial objectives with business goals. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role within a multinational or large-scale organization.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance, with a deep understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
