Position Overview
Accenture is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities
- Network Security Architecture: Develop and implement comprehensive network security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and secure network segmentation strategies. Ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Threat Detection and Response: Lead the identification, analysis, and mitigation of security threats across the network. Utilize advanced monitoring tools and techniques to detect anomalies, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future breaches.
- Security Policy and Compliance: Establish, enforce, and continuously update network security policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with industry regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and organizational requirements. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Perform thorough risk assessments and vulnerability scans to proactively identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities, reducing exposure to potential cyber threats.
- Incident Management: Serve as a key member of the incident response team, leading investigations into security breaches, coordinating containment efforts, and implementing recovery strategies. Document lessons learned and recommend enhancements to strengthen resilience.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to integrate security solutions seamlessly into existing systems. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
- Emerging Technologies and Trends: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in network security technologies, such as zero-trust architecture, cloud security, and AI-driven threat detection. Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNP Security are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in network security engineering, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level security solutions. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring platforms is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing/switching technologies, and security frameworks. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevSecOps practices is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Active certifications in network security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA) and a commitment to continuous professional development are required.
