Key Responsibilities

The Divisional Engineering Manager (Farming) will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, sustainability, and scalability of Almarai’s farming operations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with Almarai’s long-term business objectives, focusing on optimizing farming processes, reducing operational costs, and enhancing productivity.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers and technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, including infrastructure development, equipment modernization, and technology integration, to support farming operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in engineering management is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within the agricultural or farming sector. Experience in large-scale farming operations, irrigation systems, or agricultural machinery is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), project management tools, and data analytics platforms. Knowledge of precision agriculture technologies and automation systems is a plus.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and drive organizational change. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills are essential.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
