Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Utilize consultative selling techniques to understand preferences and guide them toward the ideal mattress or sleep solution.
• Sales Execution: Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by effectively promoting Sealy’s premium mattresses, foundations, and accessories. Demonstrate product knowledge, including features, benefits, and warranties, to confidently close sales and upsell complementary items.
• Store Presentation: Maintain a visually appealing and organized retail environment, ensuring displays are well-stocked, clean, and aligned with brand standards. Regularly replenish inventory and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Follow up post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly, reinforcing Sealy’s commitment to quality and service.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with store management and colleagues to share market insights, sales strategies, and customer feedback. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve skills and contribute to store success.
• Operational Support: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, transaction processing, and security checks. Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant retail environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in retail sales, preferably in the furniture or mattress industry. Prior experience in a customer-facing role within a luxury or premium retail environment is a strong advantage.
• Sales Aptitude: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a results-driven mindset and a passion for closing deals. Ability to identify customer needs and present solutions persuasively.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with mattress types, sleep technologies, and retail products is beneficial but not mandatory—comprehensive training will be provided.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage customers of all backgrounds in a professional and friendly manner.
• Personal Attributes: High energy, resilience, and a customer-centric attitude. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
