PR Account Director

Position Overview

Skyline Media in Jeddah is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Account Director to lead and expand our public relations initiatives. This senior role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of our client accounts, ensuring brand visibility, and fostering strong media relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in PR management, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Saudi and regional media landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies tailored to client objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
• Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction through consistent delivery of results.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while driving accountability and excellence.
• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets, securing high-impact coverage for clients across print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
• Crisis Management: Anticipate and mitigate potential PR crises, developing proactive communication plans to protect and enhance client reputations in challenging situations.
• Content Development: Oversee the creation of compelling PR content, including press releases, media pitches, thought leadership articles, and social media strategies, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
• Budget Oversight: Manage client budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
• Reporting and Analysis: Provide detailed performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, campaign successes, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in PR account management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director role.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Saudi and regional media landscape, including familiarity with key influencers, journalists, and industry trends.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a strategic mindset with a focus on results-driven outcomes.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in PR tools and software, such as Meltwater, Cision, or similar platforms, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential; additional languages are a valuable asset.
