Key Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in the organization by executing a wide range of financial duties, with a primary focus on investment analysis and modeling. The core responsibilities include:

• Investment Analysis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of potential investment opportunities, including financial statement analysis, market research, and risk assessment to identify high-potential ventures that align with RAWAJ’s strategic objectives.
• Financial Modeling: Develop, refine, and maintain sophisticated financial models to project future performance, assess valuation metrics, and simulate various investment scenarios. These models will serve as critical tools for guiding executive decision-making and capital allocation strategies.
• Portfolio Management Support: Collaborate closely with the investment management team to monitor portfolio performance, analyze trends, and recommend adjustments to enhance returns while mitigating risks. This includes preparing detailed performance reports and presenting insights to senior leadership.
• Due Diligence: Lead or participate in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships, ensuring thorough financial and operational assessments are conducted to validate investment viability.
• Strategic Planning: Assist in the formulation of long-term financial strategies by providing data-backed insights and scenario analyses that support sustainable growth and profitability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, including GAAP and IFRS standards, while maintaining rigorous internal controls and audit readiness.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, by translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations and clear, concise reports.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following competencies:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA, CFA, or other advanced certifications in finance or investment management are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, investment management, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful financial insights and models.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in financial modeling tools such as Excel (including VBA and macros), Power BI, or Tableau. Familiarity with investment management software and ERP systems is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to interpret complex financial data to inform strategic decisions.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of Saudi Arabia’s economic landscape, investment regulations, and market dynamics, particularly within the retail or consumer goods sector, is advantageous.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
