Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive QA/QC frameworks tailored to residential architectural projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, client expectations, and regulatory standards.
• Design Review and Validation: Conduct meticulous reviews of architectural designs, blueprints, and construction documents to identify potential risks, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues, and propose corrective measures to mitigate them.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all residential projects adhere to local, national, and international building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines, including those set by the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant authorities.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers—to streamline QA/QC processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce project delays or cost overruns.
• Inspection and Auditing: Lead on-site inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to verify construction quality, material compliance, and workmanship standards, documenting findings and escalating critical issues as necessary.
• Risk Management: Identify potential quality-related risks in residential projects and develop proactive strategies to address them, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for QA/QC matters, liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve disputes, and facilitate seamless project execution.
• Training and Mentorship: Mentor junior QA/QC engineers and architects, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in QA/QC, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles within the architectural or construction industry, with a strong focus on residential projects. Prior experience in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp), QA/QC tools, and construction methodologies. Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital QA/QC platforms is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards, including the Saudi Green Building Code (SGB) and other relevant guidelines.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
