IT Application Lead

The IT Application Support Lead is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and maintenance of critical business software. This role combines technical troubleshooting, team leadership, and process optimization to bridge the gap between end-users and software development.

• Team Leadership: Mentor support engineers, manage shift schedules, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Incident & Problem Management: Track and resolve system issues, minimize mean time to resolution (MTTR), and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• SLA & Performance Monitoring: Ensure applications meet service level agreements and monitor system health to prevent downtime.
• Release & Deployment: Coordinate software patching, updates, and transitions from QA to the production environment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a subject-matter expert, providing functional and technical updates to business users.

Essential Qualifications: Typically 5-8+ years in software support, production support, or development, with 2-3 years in a leadership capacity.
