Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial analysis, business intelligence, and operational excellence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience collaborating with sales, finance, and operations leaders to generate data-driven insights that directly influence business performance and strategic decision-making. As part of a dynamic and international team, you will contribute to real-world financial processes while developing essential analytical, communication, and technical skills in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Operations: Work closely with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team to process daily accounting entries within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Payroll and Reconciliation: Assist in payroll accounting processes and perform detailed reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and transparency.
  • Payment Management: Monitor and follow up on customer payments while coordinating supplier payment activities to optimize cash flow and vendor relationships.
  • Master Data Administration: Support the creation, maintenance, and validation of customer and vendor master data to ensure consistency and reliability in financial reporting.
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts and track the open order book to provide critical insights for business planning and revenue projections.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with the sales, customer service, and procurement teams to deliver operational support, resolve financial inquiries, and facilitate seamless business operations.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Assist the procurement team in generating and managing purchase orders (POs) based on departmental purchasing requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Dashboard Development: Contribute to the design and maintenance of executive-level dashboards and performance reporting tools, enabling data visualization and informed management decision-making.
  • Professional Development: Gain exposure to senior finance professionals, participate in strategic discussions, and observe firsthand the financial operations and decision-making processes that drive our global business forward.

What You Will Achieve

This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive foundation in finance and controlling within an international corporate setting. You will develop practical expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and business analysis while honing your analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The role offers invaluable opportunities to build professional communication skills, enhance negotiation techniques, and cultivate a deep understanding of commercial performance management. Through mentorship from seasoned finance professionals, you will receive personalized guidance to accelerate your learning and career growth. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a Certificate of Internship, recognizing your contributions and achievements during your tenure.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field, with a strong academic record demonstrating proficiency in quantitative and analytical subjects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to manipulate data, create formulas, and generate reports efficiently. Familiarity with SAP systems and prior internship experience in a financial or business environment are advantageous.
  • Personal Attributes: Demonstrated motivation, analytical mindset, and reliability, with a natural affinity for numbers and financial data. You thrive in collaborative settings, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and are committed to delivering high-quality results with precision and efficiency.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (B2 level or higher) is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is considered a valuable asset in our regional operations.
  • Eligibility: This internship is open exclusively to Saudi nationals, including recent graduates seeking to launch their careers in finance. Candidates should be prepared to submit a current résumé and official transcript of records as part of the application process.
