Performance Management Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Performance Management Manager to join our Finance team in Riyadh. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the reporting functions of the Financial Control department while driving the development and optimization of Management Information (MI) systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement within the banking or financial services sector. You will play a critical role in enhancing the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of financial reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Performance Management Manager will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting Oversight: Manage and streamline the reporting processes for the Financial Control department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial data to internal stakeholders.
• MI Report Development and Automation: Lead the design, parameterization, and production of MI reports and packs using the HMI system. Ensure that data extracted from SAB systems is accurately reflected in MI reports to support informed decision-making.
• Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Support: Actively participate in the AOP exercise, including input preparation, consolidation, HMI upload, and analysis template development to facilitate strategic planning and performance tracking.
• Process Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement in the management information system by identifying opportunities to enhance data quality, efficiency, and automation, thereby reducing manual intervention and increasing operational effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Query Resolution: Address ad-hoc queries and requirements from business management and finance teams promptly, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered within stipulated timelines. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders by providing actionable insights and financial analysis.
• Financial Statement Support: Provide essential support in resolving published notes within quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial reporting at both the bank and segment levels.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in management reporting, financial analysis, and performance reporting within a banking or financial services environment. Prior exposure to MI system development and automation is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in financial data analysis, reporting tools, and systems such as HMI and SAB. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms is essential.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail, coupled with the capacity to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.
• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leadership, business managers, and finance teams to drive alignment and support strategic decision-making processes.
