Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Investment Associate to join our dynamic team within a leading consulting firm based in the PIF World, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for professionals with a strong foundation in investment analysis, financial modeling, and strategic advisory, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and support senior consultants and investment professionals in evaluating and executing investment opportunities. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Investment Associate will play a pivotal role in the investment lifecycle, supporting critical functions across financial analysis, market research, and advisory services. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Investment Lifecycle Support: Collaborate closely with senior team members to evaluate investment opportunities, conduct thorough due diligence, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Documentation and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive concept papers, investment theses, management presentations, board materials, and committee packs to support client engagements and executive decision-making.
  • Financial Modeling and Valuation: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, including valuation analyses, scenario modeling, and sensitivity assessments to assess investment viability and potential returns.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, sector-specific deep-dives, benchmarking studies, competitor analysis, and company profiling to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Due Diligence Coordination: Lead and support due diligence workstreams, encompassing commercial, financial, technical, tax, and legal aspects to ensure robust evaluation of potential investments.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business plans, financial statements, operating metrics, and transaction data room materials to derive actionable insights and support investment recommendations.
  • Deal Pipeline Management: Track and manage deal pipelines, maintain comprehensive databases, and prepare executive-ready dashboards and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams, external advisors, and counterparties to ensure alignment, efficient execution, and successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in investments, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategy consulting, or transaction advisory services.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong financial modeling skills, including expertise in valuation methodologies, forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create polished, executive-level materials.
  • Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of investment analysis frameworks, M&A processes, due diligence methodologies, and deal execution strategies.
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct market assessments, benchmarking studies, industry research, and competitor analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
  • Location and Availability: Full-time availability in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the ability to commence work immediately. The position is available through December 2026, with a strong potential for extension into 2027.
  • Technical Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard platforms such as PitchBook, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, MergerMarket, or similar financial databases is highly desirable.
