General Manager – Information Technology

A leading automotive dealership and distribution group seeks an accomplished General Manager – Information Technology to spearhead its IT strategy, digital transformation initiatives, and technology operations across multiple branches and business units.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of leadership experience within the automotive industry, coupled with a proven track record in managing Kerridge DMS and Infor SyteLine ERP environments, ensuring seamless integration across Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Service, Bodyshop, Finance, CRM, and Supply Chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's IT strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Lead all IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation programs.
  • Manage, optimize, and enhance Kerridge DMS and Infor SyteLine ERP platforms.
  • Ensure seamless integration between dealership systems, ERP, CRM, OEM portals, and business applications.
  • Support dealership operations across Vehicle Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Service Workshops, and Bodyshop functions.
  • Lead ERP and DMS implementation, migration, upgrade, and optimization projects.
  • Establish IT governance, security controls, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors, OEM technology partners, and third-party service providers.
  • Drive process automation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead and develop high-performing IT teams across multiple locations.
  • Manage annual IT budgets, contracts, and technology investment plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Master's Degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior IT leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kerridge DMS, Infor SyteLine ERP, CRM Systems, Infrastructure & Networks, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Technologies.
  • Previous experience within Automotive Dealerships, Automotive Distributors, Vehicle Importers, and Multi-Branch Organizations.
