Technical Analyst, SAP - ABAP/Integration

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Analyst, SAP - ABAP/Integration to design, develop, implement, and support robust SAP ABAP solutions and enterprise integrations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions that enhance business processes while ensuring strict adherence to SAP development standards and integration best practices. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity experts, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of SAP solutions across manufacturing, finance, supply chain, sales, and shared services.

Key Responsibilities

SAP ABAP Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP reports, programs, enhancements, workflows, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits to meet evolving business requirements.
• Create and maintain SAP SmartForms and Adobe Forms to enhance user experience and streamline document generation processes.

SAP SuccessFactors Integration

• Lead the design and implementation of integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP ECC/S/4HANA using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and direct APIs.
• Develop and maintain connectors for critical HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, employee data management, and performance management.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security across integrated systems.

Integration Management

• Design and implement integrations between SuccessFactors, SAP ERP, and third-party systems such as payroll providers, time management solutions, and job boards.
• Manage data mapping, transformation, validation rules, and integration specifications to ensure seamless interoperability.
• Ensure integration architecture adheres to scalability, reliability, and performance best practices.

Interface Development & Monitoring

• Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and SOAP/REST services to facilitate data exchange between systems.
• Monitor interfaces to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

System Enhancements & Optimization

• Review and optimize custom developments and integrations to improve efficiency, reduce latency, and enhance system performance.
• Perform ABAP performance tuning to minimize errors, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with SAP functional consultants in HR, Finance, and other domains to support end-to-end business solutions.
• Define and document business and integration requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.

End-User Training & Documentation

• Develop and deliver comprehensive user training programs to facilitate smooth adoption of new solutions.
• Maintain accurate technical, functional documentation, and user guides to support ongoing operations and future enhancements.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Provide expert technical support for ABAP developments and integrations, acting as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
• Investigate root causes of technical issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Project Support & Development

• Lead ABAP and SuccessFactors integration projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project objectives.
• Support system upgrades, compatibility testing, change requests, and version control to maintain system integrity and compliance.

Policies, Systems & Procedures

• Contribute to the development and refinement of IT policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure operational consistency and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with expertise in supporting SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments.
• Proven experience in SAP integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, including SuccessFactors integrations.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP development, including reports, enhancements, workflows, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.
• Experience with SAP SmartForms, Adobe Forms, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and SOAP/REST services.
• Familiarity with SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and direct API integrations.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
