Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, Fortinet security solutions, cloud technologies, and Python scripting for network automation and security operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring high availability and protection against evolving cyber threats. Your expertise will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' digital assets and supporting their business objectives through secure and resilient network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy secure enterprise network infrastructure tailored to organizational needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance requirements.
• Fortinet Security Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions, including FortiGate Firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), SSL Inspection, and comprehensive security policies to mitigate risks and enhance network protection.
• Automation and Scripting: Create, maintain, and optimize Python scripts to automate routine network administration tasks, security operations, and incident response processes, thereby improving efficiency and reducing human error.
• Cloud Networking and Security: Deploy, configure, and support cloud-based networking and security solutions across leading platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring seamless integration and robust security controls.
• Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, VPNs, and other enterprise security technologies to maintain optimal network performance and reliability.
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor network traffic and security events, analyze potential threats, and respond promptly to incidents and vulnerabilities to minimize impact and ensure continuous protection.
• Security Hardening and Optimization: Conduct regular firewall optimization, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation activities to strengthen the network’s defenses against cyber threats.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, security professionals, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing network operations that support organizational goals.
• Technical Documentation and Support: Prepare detailed technical documentation for network configurations, security policies, and operational procedures. Provide expert technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients as needed.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in Network Security, with a proven track record in designing and managing secure network infrastructures.
• Fortinet Expertise: Strong experience with Fortinet security solutions, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of FortiGate Firewalls and related security technologies.
• Enterprise Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, and VLANs, with the ability to implement and manage these technologies effectively.
• Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud networking and security solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP, including deployment and management of cloud-based infrastructure.
• Programming and Automation: Proficiency in Python scripting for network automation and security operations, enabling efficient and scalable management of network resources.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and analytical thinking to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network and security issues.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Certifications: CCNP Enterprise (required) and CCNP Security (preferred). Fortinet certifications such as FCP, FCSS, or NSE are highly desirable and demonstrate specialized expertise in Fortinet technologies.
• Additional Skills: Familiarity with Ansible, REST APIs, Git, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is considered a plus, as these technologies enhance automation and infrastructure management capabilities.
• Cisco Environment Experience: Prior experience working within Cisco enterprise environments is advantageous and can provide valuable insights into multi-vendor network integrations.
