The Role: Healthcare Systems Partner (HSP)

As a Healthcare Systems Partner at Roche, you will serve as a visionary leader and the local representative of our organization, collaborating closely with key healthcare stakeholders such as policymakers, regulators, and payers. Your mission is to identify shared goals, co-create innovative solutions, and implement strategies that drive sustainable improvements in healthcare outcomes for patients. This role is pivotal in influencing and reshaping healthcare systems to deliver measurable impact, ensuring that more patients benefit from advanced therapies and diagnostics. You will act as a trusted bridge between Roche and the healthcare ecosystem, driving alignment and fostering long-term partnerships that advance our collective mission.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Identify, map, engage, and manage a diverse network of ecosystem stakeholders to foster innovation and create value for both the healthcare system and society. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring alignment and securing the necessary resources to drive impactful solutions.
• Leadership and Coaching: Embrace the Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst (VACC) model to inspire and guide both internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a catalyst for change, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation while coaching teams to achieve their full potential.
• Ecosystem Analysis and Insights: Analyze healthcare ecosystems to identify broader trends, patterns, and opportunities. Leverage these insights to inform Roche’s strategy while disseminating our scientific expertise, knowledge, and innovations back into the ecosystem to drive meaningful progress.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other Healthcare System Partners and Patient Journey Partners to leverage local and network resources, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to healthcare transformation.
• Strategic Influence: Bring external insights into Roche to shape our strategic direction, while also representing Roche’s vision and expertise in external forums. Your role will be instrumental in driving policy changes, improving access to care, and advancing healthcare solutions that align with our mission.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of academic excellence, industry experience, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education and Experience: A university degree in Pharmacy is required, with an advanced degree in Life Sciences or an MBA considered a strong asset. You must have at least two years of experience in Market Access, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, including processes, governance, access strategies, pricing, and policy development.
• Strategic and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, formulate strategic initiatives, and orchestrate collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Your business acumen should extend to commercialization and customer experience, with a knack for leveraging innovative methods and digital tools to enhance stakeholder engagement.
• Leadership and Communication: A system thinker with exceptional customer engagement and management skills, capable of handling complex projects with sensitivity and adaptability. You should be a deep listener, reflecting on team dynamics and responding to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders with empathy and clarity.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential to effectively engage with stakeholders across diverse regions and ensure seamless communication.
