Salon Manager/ Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager/Supervisor to oversee all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of our salon. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving performance, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the salon operates efficiently while delivering exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and Business Development: Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive business and marketing plans to enhance salon performance, visibility, and profitability. Analyze industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Financial Management: Oversee the salon’s financial operations, including budget preparation, cost control, and expense management. Prepare detailed revenue and expense reports for review by owners or the board of directors, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial performance.
• Operational Excellence: Supervise daily salon operations to maintain impeccable cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards. Ensure adherence to the salon’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and manuals, updating them as necessary to reflect industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to align operational goals, foster a cohesive work environment, and support staff development. Assist in creating and updating the salon’s service menu to reflect current trends, client preferences, and competitive offerings.
• Client Relations and Feedback Management: Act as the primary point of contact for client feedback, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. Implement strategies to gather and analyze client insights, using data to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Retail and Sales Management: Drive retail sales by developing and executing effective merchandising strategies, training staff on product knowledge, and promoting high-margin services. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as labor laws. Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to SOPs and implement corrective actions where necessary to mitigate risks.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma is required, with a degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Salon Management, or Business Administration strongly preferred. Additional qualifications in marketing, finance, or human resources will be considered an asset.

Experience: A minimum of three years of progressive experience in salon management or hospitality management within an international standard salon, enterprise, or hotel is essential. Prior experience in a leadership role, overseeing teams and driving operational efficiency, is highly desirable.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and salon management software is required. Strong business writing skills and the ability to prepare clear, concise reports are critical.

Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory to effectively communicate with clients, staff, and stakeholders.

Work Schedule: This position requires flexibility to work shift hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate salon operations and client demands.
