About The Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter – Engineering to join the dynamic team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s facilities and equipment to the highest standards, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional guest experience. Your responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance to uphold safety and efficiency, responding promptly to maintenance requests via the hotel’s system, and reporting any material or technical issues to your supervisor. You will execute assigned tasks with precision while adhering to Jumeirah’s stringent quality benchmarks, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and apply innovative techniques to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education as a minimum requirement; vocational certification and trade qualification are highly advantageous.
• Proficient technical skills in carpentry and related trades, basic computer literacy, and a solid understanding of safety protocols and building systems.
• Fluency in English, the ability to work independently, and adaptability to diverse cultural and operational environments.
