Retail Sales Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead and oversee the sales operations for Sealy Mattress Middle East in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing store performance, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across our retail network. The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on sales expertise to elevate our brand presence and achieve aggressive sales targets in the competitive mattress and bedding market.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share, aligning with Sealy’s corporate objectives and regional growth plans.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to drive individual and team success.
• Store Operations: Oversee daily retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service standards to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, and retail partners to enhance brand loyalty and drive repeat business. Implement targeted sales initiatives to meet customer needs and preferences.
• Financial Performance: Monitor sales metrics, KPIs, and financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop actionable insights to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
• Brand Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador for Sealy Mattress Middle East, upholding the company’s reputation for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and corporate meetings as required.
• Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including potential retail locations, partnerships, and digital sales channels to drive long-term growth and market penetration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or advanced certification in retail management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive retail sales management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the mattress, furniture, or home furnishings industry.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop data-driven sales strategies and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, from sales associates to senior executives.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with retail management software, CRM systems, and POS tools to streamline operations and enhance sales performance.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable. Additional languages relevant to the region are a plus.
