Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties designed to uphold and enhance Almarai’s QSHE standards across our sales functions. Your responsibilities will include:

• QSHE Policy Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all sales activities comply with Almarai’s QSHE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Act as a liaison between the sales department and the QSHE team to facilitate seamless communication and alignment.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards or non-compliance issues in sales operations. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
• Training and Awareness: Organize and deliver QSHE training sessions for sales teams to enhance their understanding of safety protocols, environmental sustainability, and health standards. Foster a culture of safety and compliance through ongoing education and engagement.
• Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into QSHE-related incidents, near-misses, or non-compliance events. Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local and international QSHE regulations, industry best practices, and Almarai’s internal standards. Ensure that all sales processes adhere to these requirements, and coordinate audits to verify compliance.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze QSHE performance metrics within the sales department. Generate reports to senior management, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation in QSHE practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with sales managers, field teams, and external partners to promote QSHE awareness and integrate best practices into daily operations. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure that QSHE considerations are embedded in decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001 are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a QSHE-related role, preferably within the food and beverage industry or a fast-paced sales environment. Experience in auditing, risk assessment, and incident management is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QSHE management systems, regulatory compliance frameworks, and data analysis tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and QSHE-specific software is required.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive a culture of safety and compliance. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
