Position Overview

As a Vice President or Executive Director within JPMorgan Chase’s Global Equities team, you will play a pivotal role in executing and managing equity trading strategies across global markets. This high-impact position requires a deep understanding of financial markets, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Trade Execution: Execute equity trades across global markets with precision, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution while adhering to client objectives and market conditions.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities, assess market trends, and evaluate the impact of macroeconomic events on equity valuations.
• Risk Management: Monitor and manage trading risks, including market, liquidity, and counterparty risks, to safeguard the firm’s capital and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with institutional clients, portfolio managers, and sales teams to understand their trading needs, provide market insights, and tailor solutions to meet their investment objectives.
• Collaboration: Partner with quantitative analysts, traders, and technology teams to enhance trading strategies, optimize execution algorithms, and leverage data-driven insights for improved decision-making.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports, including trade blotters, P&L analysis, and execution quality metrics, to senior management and stakeholders.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and global standards, including MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, and local regulatory requirements in the region.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a combination of academic excellence, professional experience, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in equity trading, preferably within a global investment bank or asset management firm.
• Proven track record of delivering strong trading performance in both developed and emerging markets.
• Strong understanding of equity markets, including cash equities, derivatives, and structured products.
• Proficiency in trading platforms, execution algorithms, and market data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, or proprietary systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Arabic, are advantageous.
