Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our chemical manufacturing operations in Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in the chemical industry, capable of driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality, ensuring the company remains competitive in the global chemical market.
• Operational Oversight: Direct and optimize day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, process improvement, and resource allocation, to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Quality and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to international quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP) and regulatory requirements, implementing robust quality control systems and safety protocols to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
• Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to streamline supply chain processes, secure reliable raw material sources, and optimize inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Champion a culture of safety and sustainability, enforcing HSE policies, conducting regular audits, and driving initiatives to minimize environmental impact and ensure workplace safety.
• Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability, to achieve operational targets and contribute to the company’s financial success.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing management team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Mentor and develop talent to enhance organizational capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in interactions with government agencies, industry partners, and key stakeholders, advocating for the company’s interests and maintaining strong relationships to support business growth.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in chemical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position, is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in process optimization, regulatory compliance, and financial management, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Additionally, candidates should have a deep understanding of the Middle Eastern chemical market and a commitment to driving sustainable and ethical business practices.
