Project Engineer(Offshore)

Position Overview

Penspen, a globally recognized leader in engineering, design, and project management solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer (Offshore) to join our dynamic team in Al Khafjī. This role is pivotal in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of offshore engineering projects, ensuring adherence to technical standards, safety protocols, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of offshore engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry regulations, and company standards.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise in offshore engineering disciplines, including structural analysis, pipeline design, subsea systems, and marine operations, to ensure project feasibility and integrity.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, to facilitate seamless communication, resolve technical challenges, and mitigate risks.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all project activities comply with international safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices, with a strong focus on minimizing operational risks and enhancing sustainability.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical reports, and progress updates, to support decision-making and regulatory submissions.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and deviations during project execution, proposing innovative solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in offshore engineering, project management, or a similar role within the oil and gas, renewable energy, or marine sectors.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of offshore engineering principles, software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, SACS), and industry standards (e.g., API, DNV, ISO).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• Certifications: Valid certifications in offshore safety (e.g., OPITO, BOSIET) and project management are advantageous.
