Key Responsibilities

The Cabin Crew Trainer will oversee a comprehensive training program designed to equip new and existing cabin crew members with the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to deliver exceptional passenger experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and Delivering Training Programs: Design, update, and conduct training sessions covering safety procedures, emergency protocols, customer service excellence, and cultural sensitivity. Ensure all training materials align with Riyadh Air’s standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assessing and Evaluating Trainees: Conduct regular assessments, including practical evaluations and written tests, to measure trainee progress and competency. Provide constructive feedback and support to help individuals achieve certification and operational readiness.
• Maintaining Training Standards: Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging trends in aviation training. Continuously refine training methodologies to enhance effectiveness and ensure compliance with global aviation authorities such as ICAO and IATA.
• Mentoring and Coaching: Serve as a mentor and role model for cabin crew trainees, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Address individual training needs and provide guidance to overcome challenges.
• Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the recruitment, operations, and safety teams to align training initiatives with the company’s strategic goals. Participate in meetings, audits, and reviews to ensure training programs remain relevant and impactful.
• Ensuring Safety and Compliance: Oversee the implementation of safety protocols during training exercises, including emergency drills, evacuation simulations, and first aid training. Ensure all trainees are fully prepared to handle real-world scenarios with precision and composure.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cabin crew member, with at least 2 years in a training, instructional, or mentoring capacity within the aviation industry.
• Certifications: Valid Cabin Crew Attestation or equivalent certification, along with a recognized training instructor qualification (e.g., Train the Trainer certification). Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards is essential.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Education, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in adult learning or instructional design are advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation tools to create engaging training materials.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to inspire and motivate trainees while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to evolving training needs.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic and/or other languages is highly desirable to cater to a diverse passenger base and training audience.
