Job Overview

This pivotal role will support the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop, monitor, and analyze annual budgets and financial forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to optimize performance.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements, mitigating risks and maintaining robust internal control systems across the organization.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Support the Finance Manager in evaluating investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and long-term financial strategies to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and senior leadership, to provide financial insights, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax efficiency where applicable.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement best practices, and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, or ACCA) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a corporate environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, Oracle), advanced Excel skills, and strong knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ethical business practices.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
