Electrical Engineer - 3 years experience in Facilities Management (Saudi National Only)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Crystal Facilities Management Limited, based in the vibrant city of Jeddah. This role is exclusively open to Saudi nationals with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in facilities management, ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of electrical systems within our managed facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and emergency power systems, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Project Execution: Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and modifications, while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical work complies with local and international codes, such as the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and National Electrical Code (NEC), while prioritizing safety protocols to mitigate risks and prevent hazards.
• Energy Efficiency: Evaluate energy consumption patterns and recommend cost-effective solutions to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support sustainability initiatives within managed facilities.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including facility managers, contractors, and vendors, to coordinate electrical tasks, resolve issues, and maintain seamless operations across all managed sites.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, and prepare detailed reports for management to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in facilities management, with a strong focus on electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools, and familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices, including the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Valid professional certification, such as a Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) license or equivalent, is highly desirable.
