Associate Director - Finance

Role Overview

Red Sea Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Finance to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Finance will be responsible for a wide range of financial functions, including but not limited to:

• Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement robust financial strategies that align with Red Sea Global’s long-term business objectives. Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking to ensure financial targets are met.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Treasury and Cash Management: Manage liquidity, cash flow, and investment strategies to optimize financial resources. Implement best practices in treasury operations, including risk management and foreign exchange exposure mitigation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Foster strong relationships with internal departments, including operations, procurement, and legal, to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Develop talent within the team to ensure long-term organizational success.
• Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Support potential M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, and integration planning, to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Technology and Innovation: Drive the adoption of financial technologies (FinTech) and digital tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in financial processes. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to position Red Sea Global as a leader in financial innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Prior experience in a large-scale organization, preferably within the real estate, hospitality, or infrastructure sectors, is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel. Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory frameworks is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive change within a fast-paced environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
