The Heart of House Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting various hotel functions. In our resorts, these associates may work across several departments (e.g., kitchen, food & beverage, laundry) to support cleaning efforts. From preparing clean linens and tableware for guests, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dishwashers, washers, dryers), to transporting linens and tableware throughout the resort, these associates do whatever it takes to achieve our goals.

Regardless of their role, there are several fundamental responsibilities that support success: creating a safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a professional appearance, uniform, and communication at all times. Additionally, associates are expected to meet and maintain quality expectations, develop and maintain positive work relationships, support team goals, respond appropriately to colleague concerns, and report accidents, damages, or hazardous conditions to management. Physical demands include moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and performing other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• No relevant work experience required
• No supervisory experience required
• No licenses or certifications required
