We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Rackspace in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and develop our accounting systems, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with international accounting standards. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and performing month-end and year-end closings.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Accountant will also play a key role in our continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance our financial systems. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role involves collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial information.

• Proven experience in accounting, with a relevant degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
