Role Overview

Entoss Pomfret Systems Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced OpenShift Administrator to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the deployment, management, and optimization of our OpenShift container platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across our enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in OpenShift operations, Kubernetes ecosystems, and cloud-native technologies, with a proven ability to drive operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Management: Administer and maintain the OpenShift Container Platform, including cluster provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for resource allocation, storage, and networking to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security policies, manage user access controls, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements to safeguard sensitive data and applications.
• Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments, reduce manual intervention, and accelerate time-to-market.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to align platform capabilities with business objectives, provide technical guidance, and resolve escalated issues promptly.
• Documentation & Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps, while mentoring junior team members to elevate their technical proficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms, with a strong understanding of container orchestration, networking, and storage solutions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
• Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures, including integration with OpenShift for seamless workload management.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation initiatives.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
