Radiology Technician - Home Care

We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Technician to provide exceptional patient care within our home care setting. This role involves performing radiological procedures at a high technical level, using independent judgment and initiative to obtain accurate studies for prescribed examinations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of post-graduate or diploma practice in an acute care facility, with desirable experience in MRI/CT/Ultrasound/Angio. They will hold an Associate Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology from a recognized institution.

• Responsibilities include:
• Operating appropriate equipment for each exam and positioning patients according to requested examinations.
• Selecting suitable technical factors for each patient and producing images of acceptable quality.
• Ensuring radiation protection and safety regulations are complied with and maintaining a clean, ready examination environment.
• Administering contrast media under the supervision of a radiologist and assisting in emergency patient treatment.
• Participating in patient and family education to enhance care understanding and decision-making.
• For ultrasound procedures, the technician will work closely with radiologists, clean equipment, and assist during examinations.
