Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, ensuring seamless interaction across devices and browsers.
• Backend Development: Design and implement robust server-side applications using technologies like Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (Laravel), with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
• Database Management: Collaborate with database administrators to design, optimize, and manage relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems, as well as third-party services and microservices architectures.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Utilize Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab to manage code repositories, track changes, and collaborate effectively within agile development teams using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring the reliability and stability of web applications before deployment.
• DevOps & Deployment: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes to automate testing, building, and deployment processes, minimizing downtime and enhancing deployment efficiency.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and security, implementing best practices such as caching, lazy loading, and code minification to enhance user experience.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for web applications, diagnosing issues, and implementing timely solutions to maintain operational excellence.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in web development with expertise in frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Django, Laravel). Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) is highly desirable.
• Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase, including query optimization and schema design.
• API Development: Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and familiarity with collaborative development workflows using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress to ensure code quality and reliability.
• DevOps Tools: Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
