Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• QSHE Compliance Oversight: Monitor and enforce adherence to QSHE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all regional sales activities. Ensure that sales teams are fully compliant with internal and external standards.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in sales operations and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain risk management plans to safeguard employees, customers, and the environment.
• Training and Awareness: Design, deliver, and monitor QSHE training programs for sales teams to ensure a deep understanding of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and environmental responsibilities. Foster a culture of safety and accountability at all levels.
• Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into QSHE-related incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances. Prepare detailed reports, recommend corrective actions, and track implementation to prevent recurrence.
• Performance Monitoring and Audits: Conduct regular audits and inspections of sales facilities, vehicles, and processes to verify compliance with QSHE standards. Track performance metrics and report findings to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with regional sales managers, logistics teams, and corporate QSHE departments to align strategies, share best practices, and ensure consistent application of QSHE policies across all sales channels.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Support Almarai’s sustainability goals by promoting eco-friendly practices in sales operations, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing. Identify opportunities to enhance environmental performance within the sales function.
• Regulatory Liaison: Act as a liaison with local and international regulatory bodies to ensure that sales operations comply with evolving QSHE legislation. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging risks to proactively address compliance challenges.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong academic background in a relevant field, such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering, coupled with extensive experience in QSHE coordination. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in QSHE, Environmental Management, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in QSHE roles, with at least 3 years in a regional or sales-focused environment.
• Proven track record in implementing QSHE management systems, conducting audits, and driving compliance in dynamic operational settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment tools, and QSHE software systems.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Excellent report-writing and presentation skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel across the region to support sales operations and conduct on-site assessments as required.
