Healthcare Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site role is designed to provide comprehensive healthcare support within Al Rqeem’s operational environment. The successful candidate will serve as the first line of medical response, delivering emergency care, basic clinical services, and health monitoring for employees and visitors as needed. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace while ensuring compliance with local and international health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Emergency Medical Response: Provide immediate frontline emergency medical care, including first aid and EMT-level interventions, to address health concerns and stabilize patients until advanced medical assistance is available.
• Health Monitoring and Clinical Care: Conduct health assessments, administer basic clinical treatments, and monitor individuals requiring medical attention, maintaining accurate records of all incidents and interventions.
• Incident Documentation and Coordination: Document medical incidents thoroughly and coordinate with local medical facilities to facilitate timely referrals and advanced treatment when necessary.
• Health and Safety Training: Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on health, safety, and emergency response protocols to enhance workplace preparedness and compliance among team members.
• Workplace Wellness Promotion: Champion health and wellness initiatives, fostering a culture of safety and well-being within the organization through proactive education and preventive measures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to occupational health standards, local healthcare regulations, and corporate policies, mitigating risks and promoting a secure work environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, human resources, and management, to align healthcare strategies with organizational goals and maintain operational readiness for medical emergencies.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Medical Expertise: Proven experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or equivalent, with a strong foundation in first aid and basic life support techniques. Knowledge of occupational health practices and emergency response protocols is essential.
• Communication and Training: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to convey complex medical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Experience in delivering health and safety training sessions is highly desirable.
• Certifications and Education: A relevant healthcare certification or diploma, such as EMT, nursing, paramedic, or equivalent, is required. Advanced credentials or specialized training in occupational health or emergency medicine are advantageous.
• Critical Thinking and Composure: The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, making sound, timely decisions in high-stakes medical situations while prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with occupational health standards, incident reporting practices, and local healthcare regulations in Saudi Arabia. Experience in corporate or industrial healthcare settings is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic and an understanding of local healthcare systems will be considered a significant advantage.
