Role Overview

Prime Engineering Consultants is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to spearhead the company’s strategic and operational growth. The CEO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future by developing and executing long-term business strategies, expanding the project portfolio, and fostering strong relationships with government entities, private-sector clients, partners, and key stakeholders. This role demands a dynamic leader with extensive experience in the engineering consultancy sector in Saudi Arabia, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to drive sustainable profitability while managing multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Set and implement the company’s long-term vision, mission, and strategic objectives to ensure sustainable growth and market leadership.
• Business Development: Drive business expansion by securing high-value projects from government and private-sector clients, leveraging market opportunities, and strengthening the company’s reputation and competitive position.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee all technical, administrative, financial, and operational departments to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, operational efficiency, and compliance with Saudi regulations and professional standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, government entities, and industry stakeholders to enhance collaboration and secure long-term partnerships.
• Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, profitability, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational efficiency, ensuring robust financial health and risk management.
• Team Leadership: Lead the senior management team, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, accountability, and excellence across all business functions.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to Saudi regulations, the Saudi Building Code, professional standards, and regulatory requirements in all projects and operations.
• Representation & Advocacy: Represent the company in high-level meetings, industry events, negotiations, and strategic partnerships to enhance visibility and influence in the market.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimization, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination to enhance productivity and deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related engineering discipline.
• Valid professional classification from the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering consultancy, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role within an engineering consultancy firm in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record in business development, project acquisition, sales, and client relationship management.
• In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, building regulations, licensing procedures, and engineering approvals.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning, business planning, and organizational growth strategies.
• Demonstrated financial management experience, including budgeting, profitability analysis, financial risk assessment, and performance management.
• Solid experience in operations management, process optimization, and resource allocation.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage complex projects and multiple priorities.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
• An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is considered advantageous.
• Deep familiarity with the engineering consultancy market and regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia.
