We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OT/Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our cybersecurity framework, particularly within Operational Technology (OT) environments. This critical role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will focus on safeguarding industrial networks, systems, and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of hands-on technical expertise, industry-recognized certifications, and a deep understanding of OT security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

As an OT/Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures tailored to OT environments. Your duties will include:

• OT Network Security: Deploying and managing security solutions to protect industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA networks, and critical infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Fortinet Security Solutions: Leveraging Fortinet’s suite of security products, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) tools, to ensure comprehensive threat detection and mitigation.
• Incident Response & Threat Analysis: Monitoring security alerts, investigating potential breaches, and executing incident response plans to minimize operational disruptions and data loss.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, such as NIST, IEC 62443, and ISA/IEC 62443, to maintain a secure OT environment.
• Collaboration & Training: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to foster a culture of security awareness and provide guidance on OT security best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluating emerging threats, assessing new security technologies, and recommending enhancements to fortify the organization’s OT security posture.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Certifications:
  • Fortinet certification (NSE/Fortinet Certified) or equivalent practical experience with Fortinet security solutions.
  • Valid CCNA certification, demonstrating foundational networking and security expertise.
• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in OT/Cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in industrial network security, ICS, and SCADA environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of OT security frameworks, industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3), and security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess complex security risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective countermeasures in high-stakes environments.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to articulate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a team-driven environment.
