Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for accounting functions across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external audits.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and financial forecasts, providing actionable insights to optimize resource allocation and performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the accounting department and senior management, board members, and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and investors, to facilitate transparent communication and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a multinational corporation or large-scale enterprise.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced Excel skills, and a deep understanding of financial reporting frameworks (IFRS, GAAP).
• Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
