Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Operations Analyst at Mudad, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Preparing and presenting monthly management reports, financial statements, and performance dashboards to senior leadership.
- Overseeing month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Conducting thorough financial reconciliations, data validation, and analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Applying a deep understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
- Ensuring compliance with Saudi tax and Zakat regulations, with a preference for candidates who possess relevant knowledge.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications and possess relevant experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, with a strong preference for candidates with an accounting background.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, including the Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Hands-on experience with financial reconciliations, data validation, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Strong familiarity with accounting principles, such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
- Knowledge of Saudi tax and Zakat regulations is highly advantageous.
Technical & Soft Skills

- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
- Experience in budgeting, financial modeling, forecasting, and variance reporting.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle ERP.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise financial reports and management summaries.
