Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Operations Analyst at Mudad, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Preparing and presenting monthly management reports, financial statements, and performance dashboards to senior leadership.
• Overseeing month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Conducting thorough financial reconciliations, data validation, and analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Applying a deep understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
• Ensuring compliance with Saudi tax and Zakat regulations, with a preference for candidates who possess relevant knowledge.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications and possess relevant experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, with a strong preference for candidates with an accounting background.
• 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience in preparing financial statements, including the Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Hands-on experience with financial reconciliations, data validation, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Strong familiarity with accounting principles, such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
• Knowledge of Saudi tax and Zakat regulations is highly advantageous.

Technical & Soft Skills

We are seeking a candidate with a blend of technical proficiency and soft skills to thrive in this dynamic role:

• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial modeling, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle ERP.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise financial reports and management summaries.
