Junior Internal Auditor

As a Junior Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in our internal auditing function, working closely with our leadership team to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct performance, operational, financial, and compliance audits, while adhering to the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) set by The IIA.

• Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying and evaluating the organization’s audit risk areas and contribute to the development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan.
• Support the execution of audit procedures, including defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations via written reports and oral presentations to management in a timely manner.
• Perform related tasks assigned by audit management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Saudi national.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation.
• Valid SOCPA Associate Membership Certificate.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, systems documentation, audit packages, and other business software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of internal auditing principles, accounting practices, and contemporary risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with fraud indicators and common control weaknesses.
