Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Support: Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, under the guidance of senior accounting professionals.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Reconciliation Tasks: Support the reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Budget Assistance: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and monitor budgets, track expenses, and analyze variances to support informed decision-making.
- Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, tax filings, and internal controls by assisting with documentation and reporting processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency through the use of technology and best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including auditors, tax advisors, and department heads, to facilitate smooth financial operations and reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional Readiness: A strong foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn new software tools quickly.
- Professional Conduct: A commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards in all financial activities.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Saudi national.
- Not registered with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) for a minimum of six months prior to application.
- Must not have participated in the Tamheer program previously.
