Your Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Define and Implement Enterprise Cloud Security Architecture: Develop and enforce security strategies for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to ensure robust protection across all enterprise platforms.
• Lead Cloud-Native Security Transformation: Drive initiatives that integrate security into cloud-native development practices, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Establish Secure DevSecOps Practices: Champion the adoption of enterprise-wide CI/CD security standards to embed security into the software development lifecycle from inception.
• Design Zero Trust and IAM Strategies: Architect and implement Zero Trust frameworks, Identity & Access Management solutions, and secrets management systems to safeguard critical assets.
• Develop Kubernetes and Container Security: Define and enforce secure Kubernetes and container security architectures to mitigate risks in dynamic cloud environments.
• Drive Security Automation and Threat Modeling: Implement cutting-edge security automation tools and methodologies, including threat modeling, to proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with engineering, platform, and product teams to integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor and Lead Technical Teams: Provide mentorship to senior engineers and offer technical leadership to elevate the security maturity of the organization.

Your Ideal Background

We are looking for a seasoned technical leader with a proven track record in the following domains:

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in:
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) security architecture and operations.
  • Kubernetes security, including cluster hardening, runtime security, and network policies.
  • GitLab DevSecOps pipelines, integrating security scanning and compliance checks.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, particularly Keycloak and enterprise-grade IAM frameworks.
  • Secrets management using HashiCorp Vault and similar platforms.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Pulumi for secure deployments.
  • Network security technologies, including Palo Alto NGFW, F5 BIG-IP, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
  • Zero Trust Architecture principles and implementation strategies.
  • Service mesh security, including Istio and Envoy configurations.
  • Cloud-Native Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools and practices.
  • Threat modeling methodologies and security automation frameworks.
• Proficiency with CNCF security technologies such as:
  • Istio for secure service mesh implementations.
  • Envoy for advanced traffic management and security policies.
  • Falco for runtime security monitoring and anomaly detection.
  • Open Policy Agent (OPA) for policy-driven security enforcement.
  • Kubernetes Security Controls for comprehensive cluster protection.
