IT Systems Administrator – Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure & Networking

About the Role

Osama Abdulaziz Aldheeshi Factory for Industry (Al-Dheeshi Factory), a leading Saudi-based enterprise specializing in trailer and axle manufacturing, maintenance, repair, contracting, and trading solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to oversee and optimize our comprehensive IT infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site position primarily based in Al Kharj Industrial City, with responsibilities extending to our operational hubs in Al Kharj and Riyadh. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and efficiency of our IT systems, enabling our business to thrive in a competitive industrial landscape.

Key Responsibilities

As the IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator, you will be entrusted with the end-to-end management of our IT environment, encompassing Microsoft technologies, networking, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and business applications. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our systems, while driving continuous improvements to support our operational objectives. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive, to ensure seamless collaboration and productivity across the organization.
• Identity and Access Management: Administer Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), user accounts, administrative roles, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and access-control measures to safeguard our digital assets.
• Endpoint and Device Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Intune to manage device enrolment, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint security across all corporate and user devices.
• Cloud and Azure Administration: Oversee Microsoft Azure resources, including cloud services, backups, and security controls, to ensure high availability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Server and Infrastructure Management: Administer Windows servers, operating systems, storage solutions, virtualization platforms, and core business applications to maintain optimal performance and uptime.
• Network Administration: Manage and secure our corporate network, including firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, load balancers, and internet connectivity, while ensuring robust connectivity between our Al Kharj and Riyadh locations.
• ERP and Business Applications Support: Provide expert-level support for our ERP systems and facilitate their seamless integration with finance, HR, sales, procurement, inventory, and operational applications to enhance cross-functional efficiency.
• Cybersecurity and Compliance: Implement and maintain endpoint protection, security updates, access controls, and incident-response procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop, test, and refine backup strategies, disaster-recovery plans, and business-continuity procedures to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of disruptions.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Deliver advanced technical support to resolve hardware, software, network, and access-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Documentation and Governance: Maintain accurate network diagrams, system configurations, administrator-access records, IT asset registers, and operating procedures to uphold transparency and accountability.
• Vendor and License Management: Oversee software licences, domains, hosting services, and relationships with IT vendors and technology service providers to ensure cost-effective and compliant IT procurement.
• Strategic IT Improvements: Identify and implement IT enhancements that drive operational efficiency, reliability, and security, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
• Security and Control: Ensure that all company systems, administrator accounts, passwords, configurations, and technical documentation are properly secured and remain under strict company control at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving acumen, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Azure, with a deep understanding of their respective configurations and best practices.
• System Administration: Extensive experience managing Windows servers, operating systems, storage solutions, virtualization platforms, backups, and security hardening techniques.
• Network Administration: Comprehensive knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures, routing, switching, firewall management, VLANs, VPNs, and network monitoring tools to ensure robust and secure connectivity.
• ERP and Integration Support: Practical experience supporting ERP systems and integrating them with other business applications, such as finance, HR, and procurement systems.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: A strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, including endpoint protection, identity management, access control, and disaster-recovery strategies.
• Independence and Problem-Solving: The ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement effective solutions with minimal supervision.
• Communication and Documentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for stakeholders at all levels.
• Vendor Management: Experience liaising with IT vendors, service providers, and third-party partners to resolve issues, negotiate contracts, and ensure service-level agreements are met.
• Certifications (Preferred): Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, Cisco networking, Fortinet security solutions, Linux administration, or cybersecurity are highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
