Junior BI Analyst

Position Overview

Bavarian Capital is seeking a motivated Junior BI Analyst to join our expanding analytical team in support of a strategic Riyadh-based partner. This role is pivotal in constructing the data infrastructure required for informed investment decisions and operational oversight. Core Responsibilities

In this full-time, permanent position, you will collaborate with a distributed team to transform raw data into actionable insights through structured reporting and visualization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Data Collection & Validation: Gather and verify data from multiple investment platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all reporting outputs.
• Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for our partner.
• Automation & Efficiency: Assist in automating recurring reports to streamline data collection processes, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly business reviews using advanced data visualization techniques to highlight trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Data Quality Assurance: Identify inconsistencies within datasets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data sources, metric definitions, and reporting methodologies to ensure institutional knowledge remains accessible and up-to-date.
• Ad Hoc Analysis Support: Respond to ad hoc data requests by extracting relevant datasets and performing preliminary analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Pipeline Monitoring: Oversee data pipelines to guarantee timely and accurate report updates, ensuring stakeholders receive reliable information on schedule.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate existing reporting structures and propose logical enhancements to improve data clarity, usability, and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a foundational understanding of data analytics and a passion for transforming data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Technical Proficiency: Basic familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, along with strong Excel skills—including advanced formulas and pivot tables—for organizing and analyzing datasets.
• SQL Knowledge: Introductory experience with SQL for querying and organizing data, enabling efficient extraction and manipulation of information from relational databases.
