Infrastructure Administrator - Saudi Arabia

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Administrator to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring seamless system availability, robust security compliance, and efficient administration of both Windows and Linux environments. Key Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for a wide range of technical and operational duties, including:

• System Deployment and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain essential infrastructure components across Windows and Linux environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• System Administration: Execute comprehensive system administration tasks, including operating system configuration, patch management, system hardening, and troubleshooting to mitigate risks and enhance security.
• Tool Deployment and Management: Deploy and manage enterprise-grade monitoring, backup, security, and endpoint management tools to safeguard critical systems and data.
• Security and Compliance: Support and enforce infrastructure security controls, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity requirements and regulatory standards to protect organizational assets.
• Performance Monitoring: Utilize enterprise monitoring solutions to proactively monitor system health, availability, and performance, identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
• IT Service Management: Collaborate closely with IT teams to support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices, ensuring efficient and structured resolution of technical challenges.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Actively participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities to minimize downtime and ensure resilience in the face of unforeseen disruptions.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and enhance system stability.
• Documentation and Standards: Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, procedures, and configuration baselines to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Automation Initiatives: Contribute to automation efforts using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 4-8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure or system administration, with a proven track record in managing enterprise-level environments.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Extensive experience in Windows Server and Linux administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in system hardening techniques.
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing monitoring and security agents.
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms to optimize resource utilization.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to support automation initiatives.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in enterprise or banking environments, where stringent security and operational standards are paramount.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO, demonstrating an understanding of compliance requirements in the Saudi Arabian context.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting abilities, strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
