Key Responsibilities

The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of assigned projects, from initial bid preparation to final contract closeout. Your core duties will include:

• Contract Management: Lead the negotiation, drafting, and administration of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and mitigate commercial risks.
• Bid Strategy & Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop competitive and compliant bids, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company standards.
• Cost Control & Financial Analysis: Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide accurate financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Risk Management: Proactively assess commercial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive project success.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all commercial activities.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CMA, or CIMA) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive commercial management experience in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in contract management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel. Familiarity with Saudi construction regulations and procurement laws is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated leadership in driving commercial strategies and fostering stakeholder relationships.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
