Head of Commercial Development Lead, KSA
The ideal candidate will lead regional commercial strategy, partnerships, and P&L ownership across KSA, driving sustainable revenue growth and managing regional commercial performance. This role requires a seasoned KSA pharmaceutical leader with over 5 years of regional P&L responsibility, strong oncology and/or specialty product experience, and deep expertise in KSA market access, CHTA, and affiliate-based commercialization models.
- Commercial Leadership: Define and execute KSA commercial strategies, lead launch sequencing, lifecycle management, and portfolio optimization, guide country prioritization and resource allocation, and own regional P&L responsibility.
- Alliance & Partnership Management: Lead strategic alliances, oversee licensing agreements, establish governance forums, and provide senior commercial leadership in negotiations.
- Market Access & CHTA Leadership: Lead regional pricing and reimbursement strategies, collaborate cross-functionally for value dossiers and national reimbursement submissions, and navigate diverse healthcare frameworks.
- Cross-Functional & Independent Leadership: Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, operate with autonomy, and ensure alignment between global strategy and country-level execution.
- Strategic Planning & Performance Management: Develop and execute Saudi specific commercial and alliance strategies, monitor regional KPIs, and contribute to long-term portfolio strategy.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field, at least 15 years of biopharma industry experience, more than 5 years of direct P&L leadership experience at a regional or multi-country level, proven experience commercializing oncology and/or specialty medicines in KSA, and fluency in English. Preferred qualifications include experience in multinational pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies with KSA regional scope, established networks, and additional Saudi languages.
