Senior Specialist - Supply Chain Risk

Position Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist - Supply Chain Risk to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our supply chain operations to ensure operational resilience, sustainability, and compliance with global best practices. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, deep analytical expertise, and a proactive approach to managing supply chain vulnerabilities in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate potential disruptions in the supply chain, including geopolitical, economic, environmental, and operational risks. Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to quantify risks and prioritize mitigation strategies.
• Supply Chain Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust supply chain risk management strategies that align with Qiddiya Investment Company’s long-term objectives. Ensure alignment with corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Supplier Risk Management: Establish and maintain a rigorous supplier risk management framework, including due diligence, performance monitoring, and contingency planning. Identify high-risk suppliers and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential disruptions.
• Crisis Management and Business Continuity: Lead the development and execution of business continuity plans to ensure minimal impact during supply chain disruptions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement rapid response strategies and restore operations efficiently.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and predictive modeling to forecast potential risks and identify trends. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing regular updates on supply chain risk exposure and mitigation progress. Foster strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, and regulatory bodies to enhance collaboration and transparency.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including but not limited to, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and environmental sustainability standards. Implement robust governance frameworks to monitor and report on supply chain risk compliance.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in supply chain risk management. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance resilience and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, or CISSP) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain risk management, preferably within a large-scale organization or multinational corporation. Experience in the real estate, infrastructure, or investment sectors is a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain risk management software, data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Strong knowledge of risk assessment frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO ERM) and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive consensus on risk mitigation strategies. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous.
